Egg
Still working on the still life with eggs for art dealer Warnars & Warnars in Naarden (Holland). So I decided to paint a small study of an egg today. Because the brown/purple dark side of the egg is painted with rather transparent pigments, I started this painting with an acrylic half tone imprimatura, to prevent brushmarks from showing on that side. Will experiment more with this way of painting in the next weeks...
